Dallas

Dallas has been lamenting lately - everyday I hear "I wish we could go to Sri Lanka and visit Kendra". He actually prays for that!

He also has been talking about the difference between fiction and nonfiction! He obviously is learning about it at school - but is definitely catching on.

At school they are focusing on the Fruit of the Spirit this month - and so that also is the topic of his conversations. I love the fact that he goes to a Christian school - he learns so much - and although he learns things at home it is reinforced at school! Like his commitment to prayer - his prayer life is so good. I wish I had that kind of faith!

It's funny, I reminded him of a song he made up a few years a go - "God is a good guy...yes he is!" and now he sings it all the time and makes up new lyrics. I am so glad - he is learning to worship by creating his own songs - very creative kid! Maybe one day he will be a songwriter!
