Emily

My niece Emily was born on Thursday morning. She wasn't able to breathe on her own and she was rushed to Saskatoon's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit immediately. My sister remained in North Battleford until she could be transferred to Saskatoon on Friday.

Emily is holding her own now - she is breathing on her own, but is still hooked up to a ventilator to assist her in breathing. Her lungs are not fully developed. She has undergone a lot of tests - brain scans, etc and my sister will find out more tomorrow. One thing that has them concerned is that she is not moving around or even waking up. So please keep her in your prayers as well as my sister and her husband (Sherri and Darwin)
