Today I got to hold her for the first time! It was great - she is so precious and beautiful. I could only stay for a half hour - because I had to go to work but I really wished I could have stayed longer. She was awake the whole time today and was just focusing on her surroundings. It is always hard to leave when she is awake, but it was harder today because I had to put her down!
She is doing good - she had a bad night the other day and had to be put on the venitilator for awhile again. But she is breathing on her own again and just has oxygen. In the picture, the blue tube is just an oxygen tube that blows oxygen over her traech (I don't know how to spell it).

Wow, she looks so much better. I'm glad that she is doing well and that you got to hold her. That must have been awesome. I'll keep on praying.
