Snow Day
Well today we are snowed in literally. I cannot open my front door and the snowdrifts in front of my place and my car are about waist deep! I kept Dallas home this morning because of the blizzard warning and I am sure glad I did. His school most likely will be closed tomorrow and I will have to call in to work. It is crazy here! The wind gusts are about 95 km/hr and the wind chill is terrible - and that is supposed to get even colder as the temperature drops this afternoon and evening. Yikes - they are saying that Saskatoon is in a state of emergency and that this is the worst blizzard since 1968! Almost 40 years! Wow! If I can ever get outside I will take pictures and post them

Yup, we have lots of snow too! I heard that all the schools in Saskatoon are cloesd today?! Just rural schools here are closed. I made it to town today without too much trouble. Dion had the driveway cleared out last night so I didn't have much worry.
I didn't get in yesterday - I looked outside and went back to bed. It was soooo nice!
Hope things are fine and would love to hear from you! Thanks for the card and the pics!!
Wow. It's been raining all day here, but they're saying it could turn to ICE over night and there's an ice warning til Monday sometime ... I'd much rather have snow! at least snow doesn't make trees fall over due to the weight as much as Ice does.
